Typical Work Day
“ I work as the manager of a software development company and
am responsible for all of the software that is produced. The whole
process
of creating
a piece of software is really interesting. It starts first with
meeting with the customer to find out what they need the software to
do.
After that, my team and I build a blueprint, just like you would do for
a house,
to show what it will look like and what each part will do. We write
the programming in a special code that gives instructions for the computer
system to follow. After the programming is done, we test it out
to make
sure everything works. I love my job because it is never boring.
We are always working on something that is leading edge and I learn new
things
constantly. I really like knowing that my work is so widely used. “--
