New Look On-line Self-Study Purpose and Steps

The purpose of the New Look On-line Self-Study is to enable educational organizations to identify strengths and challenges in recruiting and retaining learners preparing for nontraditional occupations. The Self-Study is flexibly designed because each CTE program interacts with local educational organizations in a unique way. ONTO Michigan Self-Study process consists of the following four primary steps:

Step 1:
Participants check through a brief assessment, resulting in identification of a focus area.

Step 2:
Participants select the identified focus area and begin the self-assessment process. This step includes soliciting input from other members of your educational community via online surveys.

Step 3:
Participants gather and reflect on pertinent data based on the focus area questions.

Step 4:
Participants use information in goal setting.
