Session Title: Adult Degree Completion Partnerships

Description: Parkland College partners with nine four-year institutions to provide 37 BA/BS degree opportunities to adult & place-bound students in its district. This session will discuss how partnerships must also exist within the community college to ensure that curriculum issues and student’s needs, as well as enrollment goals, are addressed.

Session Title: Data Trends for Illinois Tech Prep Outcomes

Description: The Office of Community College Research and Leadership (OCCRL) will present trend data for selected Tech Prep outcomes and encourages your participation in examining data improvement over time and the similarities and differences among peer group trend lines, as well as discussing ideas for continued data improvement as the State transitions to Perkins IV.

Session Title: Linking Secondary & Community College Tech Prep Data

Description: This initiative is designed to link ISBE’s ISIS data to the A-1 report from ICCB. These consortia are connecting student high school performance, program of study, and personal characteristics (ethnicity, economic position, etc.) to performance and course of study at the community college.  It is the intention that, in time, data will be available to truly track Tech Prep students from secondary through postsecondary programs, view their academic and skill development progress, and relate community college performance to courses taken and academic success at the secondary level.
