Research conducted by Dr. James Stone of the University of Minnesota indicates that all-school reform based on career and technical education can have a profound impact on America's students, including those most "at risk." Stone's research has demonstrated the impact that a specific method of strengthening math concepts in career and technical education can have on achievement measured by standardized testing. This respected researcher will address program elements which can promote successful reform through innovative, integrated practices. Also, Illinois CTE leaders will share strategies which enhance relevant core curriculum integration.
