You cannot imagine the feeling I got presenting these tool sets to the students. The publicity the program is getting from this is fantastic. Our instructor spoke at the Rotary Club meeting Thursday May 13, 2004 in front of business and industry leaders from the area, and detailed this award and what it did for the students and talked about our new Auto Service Tech program. The local radio station used our news release and talked about the award several times on Wednesday May 12, 2004 during the quarter hour news each time. Local papers are running the release along with the photo of the students and instructor. We have gotten so much from just this one $500 project. Who could have known!!!

I shared the link with the Business division and the counseling department today. Here is what the counseling department had to say. I just wanted you to know it was well received.” This is really neat. We have some 8th graders coming in. If I speak with the principal about bringing a group of young ladies-would we be able to use your link?”

You always go out of your way to help us succeed in all of our projects. Thank you very much for providing us with such valuable information! Thanks for the opportunities your grants have provided to our programs.

Both meetings were very rich in resources as well. Thanks again!

We already know what a fantastic job you do advocating for nontraditional careers and special populations. It is an honor to be part of such a great group that accomplishes many things for many people.
