A handy hand-out to entice users to visit and use the Civil Rights Self Assessment for Community Colleges, the CD contains a portal into the online tool, as well as digital copies of large downloads available to users of the online tool. Please note, in order to use this CD, internet access is required; however, the content of the CD eliminates the necessity of a high-speed connection.

Civil Rights Self-Assessment: A Tool For Illinois Education Community The companion CD Civil Rights Self-Assessment: A Tool for the Illinois Education Community, provides an introduction to the Web-based civil rights tutorial for K-12. The CD also makes the pertinent legislation easily available. As with the postsecondary version, although internet access is requires to access the information on the CD, the content of the CD eliminates the necessity of a high-speed connection.

Could This Be Your Life? Educators’ Guide is a tour complete with descriptions, tips, and tricks to utilize the full potential of the online interactive game. The Guide was developed for use by classroom teachers as well as counselors, job coaches, and any others who wish to be as effective as possible when facilitating this self-exploration. The closing pages of the Guide include student worksheets and assignment/homework ideas.

Could This Be Your Life? Promotional cut-outs are a fun and eye-catching way to promote the use of this interactive online tool. Cut-outs feature the characters from the game, and the shape mimics the TV set that “shows” the game. Set them out for students/clients or colleagues to grab. Hand them out at career fairs. Send them home with students to try with parents/guardians.
The updated cutouts feature English on one side and Spanish on the other.
